Black/Navy
Asymmetrical rebuild-style trousers from a longtime collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto Y's and Italian clothing manufacturers Aspesi. These pants feature two different ways of approaching an articulated, bent leg. The wearer's right legfeatures a darted knee panel while the wearer's left uses long vertical arced panelling as a way to shape the fit. On the backside, long brass-tone YKK zippers are set along the center calf from knee down. Theyopento a zipper placket and also whatever is inside, be it long socks, another pair of pants, or bare skin.As a functional detailthe backzips let the wearer ventilate the lower legs, but more interestingly they open up differentstyling possibilities with opportunities to showcase any layers worn underneath. Using the drawstring hem, there's even the option tofold the unzippedhemup andtie it above the calf, letting these function as cropped pants. Two different cottons are used, a navy gauze and a black densely woven canvas, with some edges left raw for the 'rebuilt' aesthetic.
Finished with button fly and waist closure,jean-style j waist pockets and back patch pockets. Reinforced seat and instep.
